Can my loft space be converted?
Unfortunately in some cases it is not practical to convert your loft space. We offer a FREE no obligation survey and consultation, where we will be able to discuss the feasibility of converting your loft, and the various options available to you.
Do I need planning permission for my loft conversion?
Some loft conversions require planning permission. Generally this is required when you live in a conservation area or a flat/maisonette. If this does not apply to your property then under permitted/lawful development rights a Certificate of Lawfulness can be obtained from your local authority. For more information on this click Planning & Permissions.
What about Building regulations/drawings and local authority approval?
All loft conversions for habitable accommodation have to conform to current building regulations.
